A typical day in the Jarboe household is busy with activities. I take the kids to school in the morning and then head straight to the office or back to the house on the days I work from home. My husband works from home full time and he handles the school pick up duty in the afternoon. When the kids get home from school, depending on the day, they either have their Zoom music lessons (piano for Eleiana and ukulele for Jaxon), Zoom with their Math and Spanish tutor, or off to sports practice (softball, baseball, soccer).

I am Filipino and it is very important to me that my children grow up with strong Filipino cultural values. Filipino culture is very family-oriented. 听The four of us stick close together and stay close to our extended families as well. 听We often remind our kids that family always comes first. 听Respect for elders is another aspect of the Filipino culture that is important to us and we try to instill in our kids.
